Mercedes-AMG GT Four-Door Electric Sports Car Uses Three Axial Flux Motors
Mercedes-AMG has completed winter testing of its new electric GT four-door, the first production sports car to use three independently controlled axial flux motors. The vehicle’s Race Engineer system gives the driver real-time control over torque vectoring and traction intervention, offering a different engineering philosophy from Chinese performance EVs that compete primarily on peak power specifications.
