Tesla FSD Europe Launch Triggers Legal Backlash as HW3 Owners Organize Collective Claim
Tesla received its first EU type approval for FSD Supervised in the Netherlands on 10 April 2026, but the system only runs on newer AI4 hardware. HW3 owners who paid up to €7,500 for FSD are now organising collective legal action through hw3claim.nl, citing Tesla‘s own patent and Musk’s admission that HW3 computers need replacement.
